This work is supported by the Human Rights Office ("HRO"), who's mission is to enable, support, and inspire the creation and preservation of a proactive, inclusive, and transformational culture of human rights at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø in which all members of the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø community can:

  • Equitably flourish with dignity and respect; and
  • Achieve equitable outcomes in ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø learning and working environments free from discrimination and harassment.

We aim to to do this through:

  • Support – we support the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø through sharing human rights expertise, analysis, advice, and education.


This work is supported and guided by the . The Human Rights Code is for everyone. It is a provincial law that gives everybody equal rights and opportunities without discrimination in areas such as jobs, housing, and services. The Code’s goal is to prevent discrimination and harassment on the basis of  and protect the rights of historically and presently marginalized groups.
