Categories: News

On May 3, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø (³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø) students delivered an outstanding performance at the 40th anniversary edition of Concours d’art oratoire, Ontario’s French public speaking competition, held at York University’s Glendon Campus. The competition was hosted by Canadian Parents for French (Ontario), in partnership with the Ontario Modern Languages Teachers Association, and brought together 157 finalists from across the province to showcase their passion and creativity in French. Students competed for a range of awards, including cash prizes, scholarships and bursaries to top Canadian universities and colleges.

From prepared speeches to impromptu challenges, participants demonstrated a deep commitment to French language learning and their achievements place them among Ontario’s most accomplished French-speaking students. Several students also qualified to represent Ontario at the national level in June.

Congratulations to all ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø finalists for their remarkable accomplishments and for promoting additional language learning and excellence in French education!
